Welcome, Friend,

Have you ever looked at parts of your story and wished you could tear those pages out? Maybe it’s a season you’re not proud of. A moment of heartbreak. A mistake you’d rather forget.

But here’s the truth: God doesn’t waste a single chapter.

Romans 8:28 reminds us that “God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.” That means your past, your pain, and even your poor choices can become tools in God’s hands.

Three Reasons to Embrace Your Story:

1. Your Story Brings Healing to Others

When you share how God met you in the mess, it gives others permission to hope again. Your testimony becomes someone else’s survival guide.

2. Your Story Is Still Being Written

Maybe you feel like it’s too late. Too much damage. Too many regrets. But our God is the Author of redemption. As long as you have breath, there’s more to come.

3. Your Story Reveals God’s Glory

When God brings beauty from ashes, people notice. Your transformed life becomes a living picture of His grace.

You don’t have to have a perfect story. You just need to be willing to place it in God’s hands. The parts you hide might be the very places He wants to shine through.

Open your journal and write down:

  • One moment in your life you’ve tried to forget
  • One lesson God taught you in that season
  • One way that experience could help someone else

Then pray: “Lord, I give You my whole story—every page. Thank You for never wasting a moment. Use my life to point others to You. Amen.”

Let me remind you of Isaiah 43:18–19:

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

God is not focused on your failures—He’s focused on your future. Let Him do the new thing in your life, starting today. You are not disqualified. You are being refined.

You’re not finished.

And neither is God.

Let’s walk forward—together.

With grace and truth,

Dr. Deborah
