It's almost Thanksgiving!
In this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to say how truly thankful I am for each of you who follow, read, and subscribe to my newsletter, blog, and podcast. Your support and engagement mean so much to me, and I’m incredibly blessed to share this journey of faith and growth with you. Every message, every listen, every share reminds me of the beautiful community we’re building together. Thank you for being a part of this, opening your hearts, and allowing me into your life. It’s an honor, and I’m grateful beyond words!
The end of the year is a perfect time to pause, reflect, and give thanks for all we’ve experienced. Whether it was a year of joy or challenges, each moment offers lessons that shape us. Reflecting with gratitude helps you see God’s hand in your life and find meaning, even in the most challenging times.
Why Reflecting on Blessings and Challenges Matters: Taking time to reflect isn’t just about reminiscing; it’s about acknowledging how far God has brought you. Every blessing is a gift, and every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Romans 8:28 reminds us that "God works all things together for good. " When we look back, we see evidence of His faithfulness woven into our story. Keep your list going until the end of the year, and then start a new one for 2025!
Here's How To Reflect on Your Year with Gratitude:
- Make a “Blessings List”: Think back on the moments you felt joyful, grateful, or blessed. Write them down and thank God for each one. These memories become reminders of His love and goodness.
- Find Growth in the Challenges: Reflect on the hard times, and instead of asking, “Why did this happen?” consider “What did I learn from this?” Often, the most painful moments are the ones that bring the greatest growth and understanding.
- Set Your Intentions for the New Year: Look forward with a heartful of faith, knowing that God is with you. Set intentions for the coming year, focusing on areas you’d like to grow or changes you’d like to embrace.
Need an "I Do" and "I Don’t" to help guide you forward?
"I Do": take time to reflect on God’s faithfulness, reminding myself of His presence through every high and low.
"I Don’t": let challenges discourage me because I know they’re part of God’s plan to strengthen my faith and refine my character.
