Are you a fan of change?

Probably not. Right?

And yet, change is inevitable.

It's easy to surrender to fear and challenges in everyday life. You may cling to the familiar, reluctant to let go of the past. But actual growth requires stepping outside your comfort zone and embracing the unknown.

Remember Ephesians 4:23, "Be renewed in the spirit of your minds." Adopt an attitude of openness and adaptability to navigate change with grace and strength, allowing it to improve rather than weaken your togetherness.

But embracing change is more than just a matter of attitude; it requires intentional action.

It means being willing to communicate openly and honestly with each other and sharing fears, hopes, and dreams. It means offering support and encouragement as you navigate the ups and downs of life together. And it means being willing to seek help when needed, whether through counseling, coaching, or the wisdom of trusted friends and mentors.

In my years working with couples, I've:

  • Seen firsthand the transformative power of embracing change.
  • Seen marriages on the brink of collapse find new life and vitality as couples learn to navigate change challenges together.
  • Seen individuals grow stronger and more resilient as they embrace the growth opportunities that change brought into their lives.
  • Seen love renewed and deepened as couples journeyed together through the seasons of life, hand in hand, cheek to cheek, heart in heart.

As you embrace Spring and the journey of change, remember that you do not walk alone. God is with you every step of the way, guiding, strengthening, and renewing you in His love.

Together, embrace change as an opportunity for growth and renewal, trusting that through His grace, your marriage will emerge stronger, more resilient, and more deeply rooted in love than ever before.
